When oil magnate Robert King is assassinated, James Bond is given the task of protecting King's only heir, his beautiful daughter Elektra, who is continuing her father's work in the Caucasus. At the same time Bond tries to find out who was behind the killing. The perpetrator turns out to be Renard, an infamous terrrorist, who has also once kidnapped Elektra.
The World Is Not Enough has everything a 007 movie should have: humour, excitement, beautiful women and colourful villains, exotic scenery and impressive stunts, but as the formula gets more and more worn, it gets more difficult for each new movie to distinguish itself from the previous movies.
