When Stine og drengene appeared in 1969, it had a certain freshness and boldness. As a study of sexual mores and the growing interest in teenage life in the late 1960s, it has still got some interest, but the story is almost non-existent and the main character so inconstant and flighty that it is hard to identify with her.
Stine is a teenage girl who wants a mature relationship to her boyfriend Jens, but he is less committed. Her parents worry about her, but they decide not to be overprotective.
