Buffalo 66 is a peculiar drama verging on the eccentric. It tells a bleak, uneventful story which focuses on the relationship between its two main characters. It is a major drawback that the two are so difficult to identify with.
Billy Brown has just been released from prison when he takes a young woman, Layla, captive. He wants her to act his wife in front of his parents who know nothing of his imprisonment. Layla is not unwilling, in fact she eagerly plays the part.
Billy has set himself another task: to revenge himself on the man who committed the crime that Billy was convicted of.
