Hannah and Her Sisters is one of my favourite Woody Allen-movies. It is both a serious and funny movie about the loves and lives of a big family in New York. In contrast to many of Allen's other movie the tone in Hannah and Her Sisters is warm and even optimistic.
Hannah is a successful actress who is happily married to Elliot, a businessman. She has a close relationship to her first husband, the TV-producer Mickey. Compared to Hannah her two sisters Holly and Lee seem like losers, but unforeseen events change the sisters' lives and the way they see themselves.
