Kærlighed ved første hik

Kærlighed ved første hik (Love at First Hiccup) is an adaptation of Danish author Dennis Jürgensen's popular teen novel from 1981. It is a sweet and charming romantic comedy about Viktor who is madly in love with Anja who is two years his senior and simply unattainable. She even has a boyfriend, but still Viktor is prepared to woe and win her whatever it takes.

Viktor's best friends Thorkild and Nikolaj do what they can to further Viktor's courtship and so do Anja's and Viktor's younger brothers, but in fact they do more harm than good.

The plot is on the thin side, and occasionally a few anachronistic elements pop up, but apart from that the film is good family entertainment.
