Klinkevals

Klinkevals does not entirely avoid clichés, but is nevertheless an entertaining story of a modern woman in the late 19th century. Juliane is an independent, passionate and vigorous woman, who has to support her family on her own when her husband Simon is admitted to a mental hospital.

Klinkevals is also a love story. On a picnic Juliane happens to meet the smith Otto Jensen. Even though he is much too young for her and she is still married, they cannot forget each other.
