Breaking Out

Vägen ut (Breaking Out) is a 'serious' comedy in the same vein as the successful "The Full Monty". The two comedies have more in common, but that you shall have to figure out for yourself.

Reine is an idealistic and slightly naive actor who is putting up a play starring inmates in a Swedish high security prison. To begin with neither the inmates nor the warders are very enthusiastic about the idea, but Reine is no quitter. He has absolutely no idea of what his disruptive presence in the inmates' lives will trigger.

Vägen ut is a warm and touching comedy though with a few too many feelgood scenes.
