The Mighty

The Mighty is a heart-warming and moving drama about the close friendship between two boys, who find out that together they are invincible. The film has a touch of sentimentality, but most of the time director Peter Chelsom steers clear of it.

Max is an outsider in class. He is not very bright and his body is a man's body and not a boy's. Kevin is Max's new neighbour. He is a bright boy, but he is also a criple with a weak heart. Max and Kevin unite forces combining Kevin's brains and Max's body, both in a fantasy world of knights and heroic deeds and in reality where teeange gangs wait around the next corner.

Not surprisingly their courage and friendship are put to a more severe test.
