Ang. Lone (Concerning Lone) is about a 16-year-old girl who escapes from a approved school to her foster parents' home. When they refuse to help her, the flight continues to Copenhagen where she meets a group of hippies and the nice waiter Niels.
Lone is somewhere between childhood and adulthood. Most people see her as a young woman, but in many situations she acts like a child.
The film is pure realism. The observing camera, the naturalistic acting, and the fact that the film is in b/w contribute to the documentary feel. Only the scenes with the social workers do not work.
