Adventures in Babysitting

Entertaining, but unremarkable teenage comedy with a sparkling Elisabeth Shue as the unfortunate babysitter. When 17-year-old Chris is dumped by her boyfriend, she agrees to babysit for 8-year-old Sara and her older brother Brad, who has a crush on Chris.

The evening seems destined to be absolutely uneventful, ie boring, when Chris's best friend calls. She has run away from home, has nowhere to go and is stuck in downtown Chicago without any money. Chris cannot not let her friend down, but she she cannot leave the children on their own either, so she has to bring them along. This is the beginning of a wild, adventurous and totally unpredictable night on town.
