La Nouvelle Eve

Most of her waking hours, Camille, a single woman in her early thirties, drinks, parties and has promiscuous sex. She has no intention of settling down, until she meets and falls in love with Alexis. Unfortunately he is a husband and a father, but that does not stop Camille. She will do just about anything to get him.

The title of this entertaining drama gives a clear indication of the aim of director and scriptwriter Catherine Corsini. Camille is her new Eve, the modern woman of today. Yet, Camille is not as modern and liberated as Corsini would like us to think. In the end it still comes down to getting a husband.
