Pizza King

It is admirable that the Danish filmmaker Ole Christian Madsen has chosen to focus on second generation immigrants in his first feature film, the crime drama Pizza King, but maybe he could have avoided some of the clichés that inevitably lead to prejudice.

Junes and Bobby are old friends and partners in crime, but while Junes is taking steps to take responsibility and change his life for the better, Bobby sees no reason why to abandon his petty criminal career.

During a break-in they find a suitcase with 25 kilos of hash. Junes insists that they leave it there in order to avoid trouble, but Bobby brings it anyway.
