Manhunter

Manhunter is an exciting thriller although it does not measure up to "Silence of the Lambs", another movie adapted from the novel by Thomas Harris. Yet, it is just as unpleasant as we get quite close to the serial killer.

A talented FBI agent, Will Graham, is on leave recovering from a mental collapse when he is called back on the job to catch a brutal serial killer who has murdered two families so far.

Graham's method is to get to know the murderer's psychology, so he looks up the intelligent and manipulating Dr. Lektor, another serial killer. Instead of helping him Lektor brings his and his family's life in great danger.
