Angels & Insects

Intriguing drama about the young explorer William Adamson and his meeting with the aristocratic and wealthy Alabaster family in Mid-Victorian England.

As Adamson shipwrecked on his journey home from the Amazonas and lost almost everything, he is now penniless so his patron Sir Harald asks him to stay in his country house to register and catalogue his insect collection and help tutur his youngest children. There Adamson falls in love with Sir Harald's eldest daughter, the beautiful, fragile Eugenia.

Adamson is an acute observer of the ants' complex society, but he fails to notice what happens right in front of his nose among the people close to him.
