American Pie is a teen comedy about four high-school friends, Jim, Kevin, Oz and Finch who have only one thing on their minds: sex. They are all of them virgins, but they decide that by the time Prom night is over, they must all have had sex. They attack the problem in different ways, unfortunately often to the amusement of the entire school.
American Pie is vulgar, coarse and excessively preoccupied with sex, but there is an undercurrent of more serious themes that slowly emerges. Believe it or not, for all the crude sexual jokes, themes as love, true feelings and mutual respect are actually quite prominent at the end.
