Frequency

When John Sullivan, a policeman, finds his father's old short-wave radio, he gets in touch with his father Frank because of unusual atmospheric conditions. Frank is in the same room and using the same radio as his son - just thirty years earlier! John tells his father, who is a fireman, that he will die in a fire next day. Because of the warning Frank survives, but by meddling with time John has inadvertently triggered off a series of changes that are not all to the better.

The film now develops into a thriller as John and Frank set about to stop a serial killer. Their happiness depends on it.

As with most movies about time travels of one kind or another, the convoluted plot in Frequncy does not add up, but this is easily forgotten during the course of the film.
