The Corruptor is a violent police thriller about a young, inexperienced policeman, Danny Wallace, who is transferred to Chinatown, NY, to fight corruption, drugs, gang wars and prostitution. He becomes the protegé of the older Chinese policeman Nick Chen, but even though Danny is basically an honest man, too many people give him offers he finds it hard to refuse.
A good story with quite a few surprises up its sleeve and interesting main characters to boot is marred by an endless number of brutal killings, shoot-outs and car chases.
