"Love is a Bith" is an intense, powerful and caleidoscopic film, which depicts the human condition in Mexico City. Like a hot-blooded version of the American director Quentin Tarantino, Alejandro González Iñárritu shows the connections between seemingly unconnected stories and people.
The first story about a young guy Octavio who falls in love with his brother's wife Susana is unforgettable. The middle story about a model whose life is turned upside down after a car accident is less interesting than the third story about the fate of a bitter ex-revolutionary and hitman.
Love is a bitch in this film, and human relations are precarious and fragile, so do not expect the traditional happy ending.
