The X-Files

The X-Files is a little too long, but apart from that it is an effective and handsome science-fiction chiller. A certain familiarity with the series' universe is expected, and as an outsider there are characters and events you would like to see explained further. It is therefore mostly fans of the TV series who will get something out of it.

In this film version, agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully have been assigned to ordinary police work, but before long the partners are once again on the trail of supernatural events that bring to mind an old sci-fi classic such as "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers". Alien beings have come to earth, and they are using human bodies to spread their species. What is worse, they have co-conspirators among the human inhabitants, and now it is Mulder and Scully's job to expose this conspiracy.
