Olsen-banden ser rødt

In The Olsen Gang Sees Red there are high hopes for Egon's plan, as Børge has got his girlfriend Fie pregnant, and a wedding is, after all, an expensive affair. Baron Løvenvold, who is admittedly one of the country's foremost men but at the same time on the brink of bankruptcy, has hired the gang through middlemen to steal a valuable Chinese vase so that he can collect the insurance money. In reality the vase is just a dummy. Egon, however, is thoroughly taken for a ride, and he will not stand for that!

Egon devises a brilliant plan to get hold of the real vase and at the same time take revenge on the baron. Will it go well this time?

What lifts this film above several of the other Olsen Gang films is the final scene at the Royal Danish Theatre, where the comic and musical timing and the inventiveness reach a high point.
