Der bewegte Mann

I would guess that Maybe... Maybe Not is the German film that has had the biggest audience in Denmark for many years; Germany is, after all, no longer a renowned film nation.

Maybe... Maybe Not is a fresh comedy about the charmer Axel, who is caught red-handed being unfaithful by his girlfriend Doro. He is thrown out of the house and has trouble finding a new place to live until a couple of gay men take a shine to him. Axel thus ends up living with the nice Norbert, who dreams sweet dreams about Axel, while the object of his affection would really rather go home to his girlfriend again. Doro actually has similar thoughts, for she has discovered she is pregnant, but she has serious misgivings when she finds a half-naked Axel with a stark-naked Norbert in her own bedroom! The comedy offers complication after complication and countless embarrassing episodes.
