Review
The Stars Fell on Henrietta is only mildly entertaining as neither the story nor the characters are particularly interesting.
The drama takes place during the Depression in Texas. Robert Duvall is outstanding as the ageing Mr. Cox who is certain that there is oil to be found under a farm close to the village of Henrietta. He has not got the money for the drilling, though, and neither has the couple Don And Cora Day who owns the land. As Mr. Cox's search for investors fail, he resorts to desperate measures to get the money.
