Dear Diary

Caro diario (Dear Diary) is not a conventional story with a beginning, middle, and end. Instead it is made up of three chapters, in which the filmmaker Nanni Moretti watches and reflects on different aspects of modern Italian life.

Moretti, who plays himself, makes some funny and interesting comments, but the film feels uneven and the chapters do not seem like a unity.
