Le Voyou

Le Voyou ("The Crook") is an entertaining and elegant story of a thief, Simon, who has just been released from prison. While he was in there, he devised an ingenious plan that is going to make him rich, very rich.

Simon kidnaps the son of a bank employee and demands a huge ransom. The father has no money, but the bank has!

The director of Le Voyou can't hide his sympathies for the crook. He doesn't have to because it is not a very serious film and not a very violent one either. Watch out for the fun and fantastic car chase.

The only drawback of the film is the confusing chronology.
