Review
Sheriff John T. Chance has to barricade himself in the town prison because the tycoon of the area wants his brother released from prison before the judge comes to town. Chance will not give in, and with the help of a few trusted friends maybe he has a chance. But what if the friends are Dude (an alcoholic who finds it hard to keep sober), Stumpy (an old man), and Colorado (a young, unexperienced man)?
Rio Bravo is a classic western, a bit more funny than most of the films within the genre. Unfortunately the film runs too long. Some of the scenes seem unnecessary, so why haven't they been cut away?
