Murder at 1600

Murder at 1600 would be an average thriller if it was not for the intelligent casting.

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is the address of the White House, where a young, female employee is found murdered. Detective Harlan Regis is sent for, but the head of internal security, Nick Spikings, is far from cooperative. For instance, Secret Service agent Nina Chance is supposed to help Harlan, but she is not much help. Instead she seems to be spying on him. Harlan does not give up so easily, especially as he senses something is very wrong, but he does not stand a chance unless he wins Nina over.
