Julefrokosten (The Christmas Luncheon) parodies a Danish custom, the Christmas luncheon when employers and employees eat, drink and occasionally lose all inhibitions together. Next day everything is back to normal and everybody pretends that nothing really happened. This custom thrives in huge companies and companies characterized by a strict hierarchy. The story was probably more pertinent 20 years ago when class divisions were more marked, but it is still a very funny film.
