Malice

Malice is a psychological thriller that is not particularly successful. Andy and Tracy are a happy couple living in a big old house with lots of room for the children they would like to have. However, Andy has worries. First of all he is rather upset about the series of brutal murders of female college students as he is a college teacher and knows the victims. Secondly, his wife is suffering from apparently unexplainable abdominal pains. Also, to be able to afford fixing their new house they have to rent a room to Dr. Jed Hill (read Dr. Jekyll), a surgeon, who Tracy doesn't like from the start. How does all this fit together? Well, the truth is, it doesn't.

Malice does indeed entertain, but the plot is incredibly far-fetched and muddled.
