Grosse Pointe Blank

Grosse Pointe Blank is an odd and surprising black comedy about a hitman, Martin Q. Blank, who has been hired to do a job in Grosse Pointe, a Detroit suburb. As it happens his 10-year high school reunion party is taking place at the same place at the same time, so encouraged by his psychiatrist Dr. Oatman he decides to go.

Business doesn't mix that easily with pleasure, at least not without complications. Martin has not been in Grosse Pointe since he left the town and his girlfriend Debi behind just before high school graduation, so he has a lot of explaining to do. As to business, it is also more complicated than expected.
