Rush Hour

Rush Hour is an action comedy about two policeman who are forced to work together even though they are like night and day. One of them is Detective Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan), the best policeman in Hong Kong, who is sent for by Consul Han whose daughter has been kidnapped. FBI does not want foreigners to stick their noses in their affairs, so they let Carter (Chris Tucker), a LAPD cop, join the team. Carter believes he is going to help solve the case when in fact his job is to babysit Lee. Lee does not need a babysitter, though!

Rush Hour benefits from teaming up Hong Kong action star Chan's efficient and modest Lee and Tucker's boisterous and unorthodox Carter, but the dialogue could have been even wittier and sharper.
