Review
The story of this excellent western follows the trail of a model of the much coveted rifle Winchester '73 that is the prize of a shooting contest in Dodge City in 1876.
Lin McAdam (James Stewart) wins the rifle at the contest, but before long his sworn enemy has stolen the rifle and escaped into the desert. Lin goes after him, but will the rightful owner ever get Winchester '73 back?
James Stewart plays the hero of the film and Shelley Winters plays the heroine Lola Manners that Lin McAdam meets by coincidence again and again.
