Review
At the beginning of the psychological drama La classe de neige (The Class Outing) we are led to believe that the film is about the psyche of an ordinary 12-year-old boy who has just entered puberty. However, one gradually realizes that Nicolas' guardedness, his wetting the bed at night and violent nightmares have a cause that we know nothing of yet.
Claude Miller cleverly erases the lines between reality, imagination and nightmares so the audience can get an idea of what is going on in Nicolas' confused mind.
