Review
Ørnens øje (The Eye of the Eagle) is a an adventure story about the friendship between Prince Valdemar and the kitchen boy Aske in Denmark in the early 13th century.
When Valdemar's father, the king, travels south with his army, he entrusts his son to Bishop Eskild's care. That turns out to be a big mistake because the bishop and a group of dissatisfied nobles plan to overthrow the king. Soon Valdemar and Aske are inextricably involved in the power struggle.
Ørnens øje is obviously a film made for older children, but it is so entertaining and fun that also adults will find it worth their while.
