Review

Stuntman Lasse Spang Olsen and talented screen writer Anders Thomas Jensen have made a postmodernist action comedy inspired by Quentin Tarantino and the British "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels".

Arvid is a decent bank clerk whose girlfriend Hanne walks out on him because she is fed up with the utterly boring, predictable life together with him. On the same day Arvid knocks down a bank robber with a tennis racket and from then on Arvid's life turns quite unpredictable and eventful.

The tasteless mix of violence and black humour slowly escalates to a crescendo during the film, which left me with a bad taste in the mouth.
