The General's Daughter

Review
The General's Daughter is reminiscent of two other solid Hollywood productions, "A Few Good Men" and "The Presidio", because it also takes place within the ranks of the military and deals with a murder that nobody really wishes to know the truth about.
The murder victim whose body is found naked and staked to the ground is Elisabeth Campbell, the General's daughter. Military criminal investigators Paul Brenner and his ex-girlfriend Sarah Sunhill have 36 hours to solve the case, which turns out to be more complex and twisted than anyone could have foreseen. If they don't succeed, the case will be handed over to the FBI.
A far-fetched story in an otherwise effective thriller.
