Mission: Impossible II

In this sequel Tom Cruise is back as top agent Ethan Hunt. His mission is to get back a highly dangerous virus stolen by his former colleague Sean Ambrose. Ethan persuades Ambrose's ex-girlfriend Nyah to spy on Ambrose in order to discover what his plans are. In spite of Ethan's professionalism, he falls in love with Nyah, which makes him dangerously vulnerable.
This dynamic action movie is excellent, but still does not measure up to director John Woo's previous action thriller, "Face/Off", which has more psychological depth.
In contrast to most action movies John Woo does not aim at realism at all. Instead he tries to make the impossible seem possible. His action sequences are masterly choreographed og designed set pieces beyond realism.
