Pushing Tin is an odd and unpredictable drama, which is more uneven, but also more interesting than the average mainstream movie.
Nick Falzone is an air-traffic controller at a control centre outside New York. He is the best till the day Russell Bell arrives. Not only does Russell equal him on the job, but he is also an equally good basketball player, and then he has the most sexy wife imaginable, Mary, played by Angelina Jolie.
Nick wants desperately to be number one to such a degree that his competitive attitude is on the verge of destroying his marriage with his faithful wife Connie.
