Crazy, but wildly entertaining comedy, which parodies popular crime stories and their detectives. An eccentric millionaire has invited the most famous detectives and promised 1.000.000 $ to the one of them who can solve a murder that will happen by Midnight.
The script is by Neil Simon, and his characters are all played by stars. That's another reason to watch this film.
