During a visit on a nuclear plant a reporter and a photographer happen to witness a crisis that could have turned into a major disaster. The photographer even manages to film the event, but nobody, not even the TV-station, wants to deal with it. However, the journalist and the photographer (Jane Fonda and Michael Douglas) are not willing to give up their explosive story that easily.
One of the reasons The China Syndrome works so well is that it seems so realistic. A highly recommendable thriller!
