Gentleman Prefer Blondes is a light comedy about two beautiful young ladies, a blonde and a brunette, who attract a lot of attention of both male passengers and sailors on board a transatlantic liner. The blonde, Lorelei, is a gold-digger whereas her friend Dorothy is more interested in love and sex than money.
The movie includes several melodious tunes. The most famous one is undoubtedly "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend", which Marilyn Monroe as Lorelei performs. Another memorable moment is when Jane Russell sings "Ain't There Anyone Here for Love" surrounded by hunks.
