Can't Buy Me Love is a silly and moralizing teenage comedy that tells us that one should always be oneself, not play a part.
Ronald Miller is a nerd who can only dream about dating the prettiest and most popular girl in school, Cindy Manzini, but Ronald finds a way to turn his dreams into reality. It costs him 1000$, but he is sure that it will be worth every penny.
Patrick Dempsey playing Ronald is more annoying than charming, but the female lead, Amanda Peterson, is very likable as Cindy. Seth Green has the most funny part as Ronald's nosy little brother.
