In Play It Again, Sam Woody Allen plays the neurotic film critic and film buff Allan Felix who has a hard time after his wife has left him. His friends, the married couple Linda and Dick, fix him up with several girls, but Allan usually screws everything up because he tries, but fails to live up to his ideals from the world of moving images. Bogart is his biggest ideal of them all and the ghost of him is often around in Allan's dreamworld. Allan is only himself when he is with Linda.
A very funny comedy that Woody Allen wrote based on his own play.
