Two Days in the Valley is a weird film that I find difficult to categorize. It is part black comedy and part crime story and then there is something more.
At the beginning several characters are introduced and several seemingly unrelated stories are set in motion. Most of them revolve around a brutal murder and gradually they are connected.
It is a clever and entertaining plot - and a contrived one at the expense of the characters whom John Herzfeld treats as if they were merely pawns in a game of chess.
