Scary and claustophobic supernatural horror movie that exclusively takes place in the little mountain town of Snowfield, Colorado, whereto the local doctor Jennifer Pailey arrives. She has been out of town to pick up her younger sister Lisa who is going to live with her for a while.
Jennifer and Lisa find the town deserted except for Sheriff Bryce Hammond and two of his deputies - and quite a few dead bodies. They call for help on the radio and barricade the sheriff's office against the unknown enemy. Will they survive till daybreak?
The prince of horror, Dean R. Koontz certainly knows how to make his audience sweat, but the story is far more far-fetched than original. The king of horror is still Stephen King.
