Moonraker is one of the most silly and least realistic Bond movies, which is also why it is one of the least successful in the series. Bond must be taken seriously - at least to a certain extent. The entertainment value cannot be complained about, though.
When Bond is trying to find out who has made a space shuttle disappear, the traces lead to the multimillionaire Drax. Unfortunately one of Bond's old acquaintances, Jaws, is employed by Drax. So is the beautiful scientist Holly Goodhead, who seems just as interested as Bond to find out more about Drax' secret activities.
