Victory

In a German POW camp during WW2 Captain John Colby (Michael Caine) tries to keep up his fellow prisoners' spirits and courage by organizing football games. The German officer von Steiner (Max von Sydow) organizes a game between the prisoners and a German team for propaganda purposes because he is convinced that the German side will win.

For anyone who is not a football/soccer fan, this drama will bore you. For fanatic football fans I suppose it is unmissable.
