Shoot to Kill is an effective thriller about a black FBI-agent, Warren Stanton, who is chasing a cold-blooded murderer. The track leads into the wilderness of Northwestern USA, where the murderer joins a group of hunters. Stantin wants to go after the killer, but he cannot go on his own. He is accompanied by the guide Jonathan Knox whose girlfriend Sarah is the hunters' (and the killer's) guide.
The developing relationship between Knox and Stantin is what makes the film stand out. To begin with Knox sees Stantin as a dead weight and to Stantin Knox is a primitive, but of course that changes.
