The Wedding Singer

The Wedding Singer is a cute romantic comedy that takes place in the mid 80s for no obvious reason.

Robbie Hart is quite satisfied with being a wedding singer until his own wedding day when his bride, Linda, never shows up. Robbie is devastated, so in order to get him back on his feet the young waitress Julia involves Robbie in the arrangements for her own forthcoming wedding. The inevitable happens: Robbie and Julia develop warmer feelings for each other, but neither has the courage to reveal them to the other.
